One of the best, free methods to receive plenty of one-way links to
your web site to comment on other people’s blogs without NOFOLLOW
attributes.
What is a NOFOLLOW attribute?
The attribute rel="NOFOLLOW" on hyperlinks are discounted by Google when ranking web sites in their search results. Originally it was to discourage comment spam.
Most
blogs like Wordpress and Blogger have this attribute applied to
comments so a user posting comments would generate no positive benefit
in terms of PageRank or other search engine value.
This automatically applied attribute can be turned off. One of the plug-ins to turn it off in WordPress is:
http://www.semiologic.co … /dofollow/. To turn off NOFOLLOW in Blogger, go to:

Turning off the “nofollow” on blog comments has become a sort of “movement” as blogs need links.
http://randaclay.com/blog/i-follow/ provides some nice GIF images to proudly display this movement.
When
you see the I-FOLLOW image, your comment will come back as a one-way
link. Of course, your comment must be genuine and relevant to the
content! Two word comments like “great site” or “thanks for the info”
are likely to be deleted.
Where to fine a list of quality I-FOLLOW sites?
You
can simply search the Internet for some of the lists. However, how do
you know which ones will provide value to your site? Which ones have a
high PageRank, preferably a PR4 or higher.
With the latest
PageRank update by Google last week, several well known sites had a
drop in ranking. So it’s important for all of you to assess potential
new, good one-way links to your site.
