The title sums up one of the inherent problems with the MLM/Network Marketing industry. A person joins this business by buying into an opportunity with out any knowledge of how to be successful. They paid a fee and received some product, brochures, CDs, business cards and a "Go Get Em".

In short order realizing they have no idea how to market, where to market or who to market too. OOPS! They've put the cart before the horse. If they are already in an MLM/Network Marketing opportunity then it is time to play catch up. If
not then they are in luck. They have the opportunity to start out right by putting the
horse before the cart. All that is require is to start learning all about marketing. After all this business "Is All About The Marketing".
In any other business people would do their research first. Learn all they could about the business. Knowing all the ins and outs before setting up shop. The same approach should be taken in a MLM/Network Marketing business as well.

Network Marketers need to follow the example of those who came before them. Those who've paid their dues and achieved their success. Shortening thelearning curve and achieving the desired success faster and easier than all the rest.

This business is both fun and rewarding when done right. The right way is not pitching your friends and family. It's not handing out flyer's at the mall on your days off. And it is definitely not buying questionable leads and cold calling complete
strangers.
